UKRAINE COVID-19 DAILY SITUATION REPORT August 7, 2020 Epidemiological situation • 1st case was registered on February 29, 2020. • 78 261 (1 453 during last 24 hours) laboratoryEpidemiological confirmed COVID-19 cases situation as of the reporting period. • 132 951 (1 774 during last 24 hours) suspected COVID-19 cases as of the reporting period. • Case positivity rate is 58.9%. • Daily growth factor in reporting cases is 1.10 (new cases reported today/new cases reported yesterday). • Number of lethal cases is 1 852 (33 in last 24 hours). • Case fatality rate is 2.4%. • Number of confirmed cases among healthcare workers is 9 078 (93 in last 24 hours). • Total number of recovered patients is 43 055 (531 in last 24 hours). • Average bed occupancy rate is 24.17% (lowest – in Zaporizka oblast (2.68%), highest – in Zakarpatska oblast (63.81%)). • Total number of PCR tests conducted is 1 133 349 (18 410 in last 24 hours). The red zone will include Lutsk, Ternopil and Kitsmansky raion of Chernivetska oblast. • Minister of Health gave detailed explanations on the rules of adaptive quarantine in the country. • The third cycle of training starts on August 1 on the platform of distance courses of the Public Health Center.
