After his debut as Nadir (Les Pêcheurs de perles) last season at the Teatro Regio of Turin (Italy), he will once again play the fisherman and friend of Zurga, this time at the Opera of Saint-Étienne (France); We will also have the pleasure of hearing him again as Alfredo (La Traviata) and Fenton (Falstaff) at the National Opera of Bordeaux (France), but also for the first time as Lenski (Eugene Onegin) at the Opera of Massy (France) and as Gonzalve (L’Heure espagnole) with the National Orchestra of the Capitole of Toulouse (France); He will also sing “Les Sept dernières paroles du Christ” by Theodor Dubois at the Opera of Limoges (France) and will give concerts with the National Orchestra of Lyon, the Musicians of the Louvre (conducted by Marc Leroy), the Cercle de L’Harmonie (conducted by Jérémie Rhorer) and the Orchestra of Cannes (conducted by Benjamin Levy) (France). Nominated at the French awards “Victoires de la Musique Classique 2020” in the category «Revelation Lyric Artist», winner of numerous singing competitions (Voix Nouvelles 2018, Vienne 2019, Opéra de Marseille, Marmande, Béziers... ), classical revelation of the ADAMI in 2011 and AROP prize in 2013, he was also a member of the “Atelier Lyrique of the National Opera of Paris between 2011 and 2014, making his debut on the main stage in the roles of Isepo (La Gioconda), Gastone (La Traviata), Ein Offizier (Ariadne auf Naxos) and Coryphée (Alceste) under the direction of Marc Minkowski. www.eurochestries.org International Eurochestries contest “Young talents of classical music” 2021 After Kevin Amiel’s participation in the 2019 edition of the Eurochestries Charente-Maritime festival, the latter renews its collaboration with the young tenor, to whom the musical and passionate youth and transmission are dear to heart. The Eurochestries festival has made Kevin Amiel the sponsor and guest of honour of this new 2021 edition. His career has already seen him play the roles of Alfredo (La Traviata) and Nemorino (L’Elisir d’Amore) at the Capitole Theatre of Toulouse (France), Rodolphe in a French adaptation of Puccini’s La Bohème by Marc-Olivier Dupin at the Opera-Comique, and the title role in The Tales of Hoffmann in a version adapted for the Opera of Dijon (France), Flavio (Norma) at the Opera of Rouen (France), the Royal Opera House Muscat (Oman) and the Opera of Saint-Etienne (France), Malcolm (Macbeth) at the Opera of Avignon, Massy, Limoges and Reims (France), Siebel (Faust) and the Governor/Judge/Grand Inquisitor (Candide) at the Opera of Marseille (France) the Young Man (The Saint of Bleecker Street) and the Gravedigger (Hamlet) at the Opera of Marseille (France), the Reporter (Simon Laks’ The Unexpected Swallow), The Teapot, the Little Old Man, the Tree Frog and the Arithmetician (The Child and the Spells), Vanderprout the Burgomaster (Geneviève de Brabant), Gherardo (Gianni Schicchi) and Il Commendatore (La Nuit d’un neurasthénique) at the National Opera of Montpellier (France), Sir Hervey (Anna Bolena) at the National Opera of Bordeaux (France), Gastone (La Traviata) at the Opera of Toulon (France), or Pâris (La Belle Hélène), Fritz (La Grande Duchesse de Gerolstein) and Griolet (The Drum Major’s Daughter) at the Odéon Theatre of Marseille (France). www.eurochestries.org.
