registration opens january 2 2019 Since 1979, Harbourfront Centre Camps has provided opportunities for exploration, creativity and personal growth within a positive camp atmosphere. Our campers are inspired through meaningful participation and enriching experiences in all facets of arts and contemporary culture. Camp provides a unique setting in which learning and fun intersect, and critical life skills are honed. With our unique location and diverse programs, our mission is to: Present, commission and incubate the work of contemporary artists in all disciplines; Foster learning and innovation through inter-disciplinary and international artistic exchange; Deliver accessible, inspiring and relevant artistic, cultural, educational and recreational experiences; and Steward the transformation of our campus and strengthen Toronto’s identity as an international waterfront city. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and diverse community that allows our campers to learn and interpret the world through dialogue, social interaction and hands-on activities. Harbourfront Centre’s unique location and institutional experience allow us to focus on giving our campers a fun and enriching experience. The 2018 camp season was one of our most successful to date! Thanks to the hard work of our dedicated staff and ongoing support from our camp families, we welcomed more than 6,000 campers to our home on Toronto’s waterfront. As we look to the 2019 camp season, we are pleased to announce a number of new camps for the upcoming year, such as Leaders in the City, Magic, Craft and Vlogging. This year we have reorganized camps to more clearly communicate our offerings: Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Exploratory, Canoe and Kayak, Specialty and Science, Sailing, Leadership and Overnight, and Circus Arts. Harbourfront Centre is a registered charity and not-for-profit organization. By sending your children to our camps, you are supporting all of the outstanding programs and events that Harbourfront Centre offers year-round. Revenue generated from our camp program enhances Harbourfront Centre as a whole and we truly appreciate your ongoing support. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to another outstanding year of fun, diverse, dynamic and creative programming!
