Experiential technology, online interactives, and compelling stories of Holocaust survivors capture the role universal human and civil rights can play in empowering engagement and creating community. Educators will be given multiple interactive online activities to choose from to tailor their eld trip to address social justice, social emotional learning, and/or age-appropriate introductory Holocaust education as desired. Note: This eld trip experience is teacher-directed and uses Google Classroom. Available beginning in September. Interactive online activities, which may be used individually or over multiple class sessions, empower students to take a personal stand for themselves and on behalf of others. Students will be motivated to take positive action in school, at home, in their neighborhood, and around the world. Note: This eld trip experience is teacher-directed and uses Google Classroom. Available beginning in September. Thematic Holocaust Students will take a closer look at dierent aspects of the Holocaust through Live Online / Virtual, Tours: Virtual Live Virtual Thematic Tours. Options include, Children of the Holocaust, Ghettoization Resources Tours During the Holocaust, and Spiritual Resistance During the Holocaust. Virtual In Our Voices This narrated experience guides students through an investigation of the Karkomi Online / Virtual, Tour: Karkomi Holocaust Exhibition, exploring the history of the Holocaust as told through the Resources Holocaust Exhibition personal belongings, photographs, historical records, and stories of local survivors and eyewitnesses. At the end of each of four tour segments, students will engage with discussion questions and activities that invite students to reect on the history learned and connections to our world today. The Virtual Field Trip is meant to be used either in a virtual classroom or watched individually by students. Virtual Notorious Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg oers a visually rich and Online / Virtual, RBG: The Life & engaging look at the Justice’s life and career presenting a unique take on the Resources Times of Ruth Bader American legal system and civil rights movements through the lens of Ginsburg’s Ginsburg personal experiences and public service. Students will learn the parallel stories of Ginsburg’s remarkable life and the ongoing expansion of “We the People” to include those long left out of the Constitution’s promises, examining her continuing work to protect civil rights and equal opportunity for all.
