Prior to 2011, the National data was based on year of matriculation and the WFU data was based on the year of graduation. 2) For the 2014 matriculation class, there were 155 Wake Forest students or graduates who applied to medical school, both allopathic and osteopathic. Of those 155, 76 matriculated into medical school which is a 49% matriculation rate. The North Carolina medical schools accepting students who matriculated into medical school in 2014 are as follows: The Brody School of Medicine of East Carolina University - 3; Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine - 2; Duke University School of Medicine - 1; University of North Carolina School of Medicine - 6; Wake Forest University School of Medicine - 16.
