It is not intended to establish, nor does it establish, a contractual relationship with students. Rather, the catalog is published to acquaint students with information that will be helpful to them during their college careers. It is necessary in the general administration of the College to establish requirements and regulations governing the granting of degrees. Academic advisors, department chairs, and academic staff members are available to aid students in understanding these requirements and regulations. It is the student’s responsibility, however, to meet them. Students are urged to keep this catalog as a reference. Changes in curricular requirements may occur during catalog publications. When this occurs, students may follow the requirements in effect at the time they entered Montreat College, or they may petition to follow the changed requirements. Reasonable substitutions will be made for discontinued and changed courses.
