Gus Boquer FSC, EdD stated in his opening remarks during the 1st Lasallian Youth Environment Summit held at the Salrial Hall, College of Tourism and Hospitality Managament (CTHM) building, on September 20. The 3-day event dubbed as “LIVES 2018: Lasallian Integrated Vision on Environmental Sustainability”, is hosted by De La Salle University – Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) and De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLS-MHSI) and participated by 16 schools under De La Salle Philippines, envisions a vibrant and dynamic network of Lasallian young environmentalists to spearhead significant advocacies and projects geared towards environmental protection and preservation. The participants discussed the feasible approaches in dealing with environmental issues and concerns which could in turn be implemented conjointly by the summit participants to ensure a significant impact.
