It’s only produced in years of exception, on the Good Years (Bons Anos). Produced with about 20 different grape varieties, dominance of the varieties Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão e Tinta Amarela. Limited Edition, directly from old vineyards (more than 80years old), it’s a the expression of the terroir of the Region Douro in a bottle. Only 3000 bottles per year and only bottled in the unique years. TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS Climate: Continental Soil: Schisteous, slightly acidic and poor in nutrients Varieties: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão and Tinta Amarela. Production: 3.000 bottles Winemaking: Total destemming. Made in traditional granitic treading tank, traditional treading by human feet. Fermentation with controlled temperature and long maceration. Aging: 18 months in new french oak barrels Bottling: 2015 TASTING NOTES Colour: Deep ruby colour. Aroma: Very expressive, some hints of black chocolate, ripe plum Taste: Dense, involving, excelent tannins. Final taste: Long, balanced and complex.
