Parish Mission Statement December 4, 2016 The Peace of Christ calls us to create a Dear Parishioners, Christian Community where God is found Sorry for the confusion in my column last weekend. When think- in the beauty and joy of our worship; in the ing about the 1st Sunday of Advent, I errantly thought also of the 1st breadth of our outreach; and in our love for Sunday of December and stated that the monthly Buildings & one another. Grounds collection was last week instead of today. It wasn’t. But it is today. Thanks. Also today we have an Adult Faith Formation Ad- vent movie at 1:00 P.M. at St. John’s in the church hall. Over at St. Rev. Robert J. Schrader, Pastor John Neumann Gym, we have CYO from 1:00 to 4:00, and our Youth Rev. Timothy T. Brown, Parochial Vicar are in two places: our 9th -12th graders are at the U of R Newman Rev. Carlos M. Lastly, our Web Site Committee is meeting at 6:00 Weekend Liturgy Schedule in the parish conference room. By then, of course, it will be dark. First, we moved the sideways Tuesday 9:15 a.m. St. Ambrose facing pews in the front from the east side to the west side so those Wednesday 7:45 a.m. St. James using our handicapped accessible elevator to enter the church will 12:10 p.m. St. John have seating available to them much closer to the door and so that the Thursday 7:00 a.m. St. John choir’s piano will face the correct way (out to the people) when its top 9:15 a.m. St. Ambrose is open; and second, we removed the front pew so there is more room Friday 12:15 p.m. St. Ambrose both for people during the communion procession and for caskets at Holy Day Liturgy Schedule —The Immaculate funerals. So far, all seems to be working as planned. God be praised!
