It was established in 1947 by the Maggiara family, who already had half a century of experience as olive farmers and oil producers. The olive trees are grown in a healthy, rural environment. We do not use pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and as such our products are organic. Our olive groves are part of a broader agricultural environment traditionally suitable for the cultivation of centuries-old olive trees, on ancient terraces on the slopes of the Ausonee hills overlooking the so-called ‘Valle D’oro’. The typical local cultivar is the Itrana olive, renowned both for its excellent olive oil and its delicious table olives. Our products are available all year round; they are distributed and sold locally and at sales outlets throughout Latium and Italy. They are exported to European and non-European countries.
