A LETTER FROM RACHEL Dear valued clients, amazing team members and supportive business partners, Sometimes life throws you a curve ball, and you end up hitting a home run. That curve ball led me to found Sapoznik Insurance in 1987 from my home. Today, having reached the major milestone of being in business for 30 years, I am so very proud to say that the company is currently the largest employee benefits agency, as well as one of the largest independently owned agencies, in the South Florida region. Thirty years ago, we were one of only a few agencies that recognized the need for education in the employee benefits sector. My vision was to ensure that employers and employees wholeheartedly understood their benefits, and in turn would be healthier and more productive. Today, this still remains our company purpose — empowering employees to achieve physical and financial well-being. My passion continues to be helping people to achieve great health, so that they can live fuller, more productive lives. In this special section, I am incredibly excited to showcase how Sapoznik Insurance, based locally in North Miami Beach, has been creating an employee benefits paradigm shift from “sick care” to “well care.” I am also excited to share information about a few of our esteemed clients, some of whom took a chance on me 30 years ago. Achievement and success don’t happen by accident — it takes a village.
