The foods in order of preference were ranked as follows: Artemia, krill, Maine bloodworms, oysters, sandworms, anchovies, Panama bloodworms, Nippai maturation pellets, Shigueno maturation pellets, conch, squid, Salmon-Frippak maturation pellets, Rangen maturation pellets and Argent maturation pellets.
