It has a strong maternity wing that has bridged the gap to access to ma- ternal health and improved the livelihoods of women in the area by providing the much needed family planning services. They have benefited from a Water Aid and DFCU partnership that enabled them obtain a placenta pit. KCCA will commence on construction works in kiruudu in December 2013 anticipated to take 2 years with the aim of decongesting Mulago. As the Rotary Club of Kampala, we are proud to associate with Kiruudu where we have conducted numerous medical outreach projects and it is this partnership that gave birth to our buddy group name. We wear it with pride and as we host you to our fellowship this evening i hope you will feel at home and enjoy yourselves.
