Chris Mapane Mentor/ Coach from the TV hit “so you think you are funny” Chris Mapane, is one of the most energetic comedians on stage He is contagious and invigorating He started doing stand‐up comedy with a one man show at the University of the Witwatersrand and at the tender age of 24, he has done it all; from headlining to One Man Shows, sharing with local comedy legends like David Kau, Barry Hilton and John Vlismas. He observant nature and ability to stay current with his topics, has made him palatable to audience from different walks of life. His style of comedy is for the common market of South Africa, he relates to most aspects of South African life, having grown up in the farms, township and the city. Ever since he moved from Viljoenskroon in the Free State to Pretoria and Johannesburg life has never been the same.
