Runway 22/04 Grass 800 metres x 20 metres. 22 Left Hand Circuit / 04 Right Hand Circuit Circuit height of 1000 ft QFE. Elevation 180 ft AMSL. Airfield Plate: Comms: Monewden Radio (Air Ground Service) on 132.905 The Designated Operational Coverage (DOC) of the above Frequency is 10NM / 3000ft – Please do not call if outside of this coverage. Instructions: Runway 22 Arrival - Keep to right of the church on approach. Check for back-tracking aircraft during final approach. Aircraft parking will be on the NW stub of the old cross-runway and along the hedge line on the NW side of the runway Do NOT do power checks at threshold of runway 22 - these should be done at the intersection with the old cross-runway Runway 22 Departure - Climb straight ahead to 1000ft before turning. Runway 04 Departure - Climb straight ahead, keeping to left of the church Do not turn below 500ft. WARNINGS: Tall trees close to thresholds, which may cause turbulence. Runway 22/04 - initial downslope to intersection with cross-runway, then upslope It is the pilots responsibility to ensure they are able to operate their aircraft from an unlicensed airfield.
