Welcome message from EURAS Launched in 2008, EURAS is the union of Eurasian higher education institutions. EURAS is a non-profit international association, promoting cooperation among 89 universities from all around Europe, Asia and the Middle East and working for the advancement of educational standards in the Eurasian region. EURAS connects higher education institutions belonging to different geo-political and cultural backgrounds and seeks ways to enhance their dialogue and exchange of best practices. As collaborative partner, we are happy to support the Eurasia Higher Education Summit- EURIE. EURIE will provide a valuable platform to expand the knowledge, networks and collaboration opportunities for the participants. It will greatly enhance internationalization of higher education in our region. As EURAS, we extend our warmest welcome to EURIE participants and wish them a successful and most fruitful conference. Dr. Mustafa Aydın President eurie fuar katalog 12 şubat.indd 1 12.02.2016 13:42 JOIN US IN PROMOTING BETTER EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR REFUGEES Today, an unprecedented tragedy is taking place in front of us as the struggles of refugees is becoming a growing problem that we face not only in our region but as a global community. We feel that as the global academic community, it is our responsibility too, to step up and take initiative towards a solution. As EURIE, we ask all of you to help us in promoting a chance for refugees to receive quality higher education. We believe education is the only way forward to solve the problem and give the next generations a fair chance. We need to create projects and initiatives to tackle all kinds of barriers by offering support to facilitate and widen refugee’s access to higher education. Before you do leave EURIE, would you please make sure you stop by the EURAS Lounge and sign the petition to raise awareness for promoting higher education opportunities for refugees. We have to start creating a voice for the problem and let this voice be heard by everyone involved. Only then we will be able to contribute in saving a generation who will otherwise be lost. eurie fuar katalog 12 şubat.indd 2 12.02.2016 13:42 CONTENTS 4 Collaborative Partners and Sponsors 6 Conference Information 8 Daily Schedule 10 Opening Speakers 10 Opening Plenary 12 Eurie Speakers 16 Conference Program 24 Exhibition Floor Plan 26 Exhibitors List 30 Meet the Exhibitors 49 List of Visitor Institutions 53 Campus Tours 54 Venue Information 56 Istanbul Guide 60 EURIE Contact eurie fuar katalog 12 şubat.indd 3 12.02.2016 13:42 Collaborative Partners eurie fuar katalog 12 şubat.indd 4 12.02.2016 13:42 Platinum Sponsors Organizer Media Sponsor Press Sponsors eurie fuar katalog 12 şubat.indd 5 12.02.2016 13:42 EURIE • CONFERENCE CATALOG CONFERENCE INFORMATION Location All locations are at the Haliç Congress Center unless otherwise notified.
