The Cougars earned the No. 3 seed in the tournament and will face RECORD 11-8, 4-1 (MWC) UNLV in the first round on Thursday at 2 p.m. on the BYU outdoor courts. * Home matches All Times are Local to Site and are Subject to Change The Cougars finished the season winning four of their last five matches to give them an 11-8 overall record and put them in a three-way tie with No. 30 San Diego State and No. 60 New Mexico for first place in the conference. All Day Brigham Young University men's athletic director Val Hale announced last month that men's head tennis coach Jim Osborne will retire from coaching at the end of the 2002- RECORD 14-9, 4-2 (MWC) 03 season. Osborne, a former member of the U.S. Davis Cup Team, has coached the Cougars for the past 15 seasons. * - MWCGame Hale also announced that assistant men's tennis coach, Brad Pearce, has been hired as BYU QUICK FACTS the new head coach.
