First started as Marine Parade CDC, South East CDC has evolved over the years, from providing social and employment assistance to the community, to playing the role of a middle office to identify emerging needs within the community and rally partners and resources to co-create solutions to address these issues. The CDC continues to stay relevant and true to its purpose of why it was started – for the more able in the community to help the less able. Joining the guests are Dr Maliki Osman, Mayor of the South East District, as well as Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, Grassroots Advisers Ms Jessica Tan, Mdm Tin Pei Ling and Miss Cheryl Chan. The annual South East District Meeting will see South East CDC’s General Manager, Kia Siang Wei, sharing on its achievement in its Financial Year 2016.
