Intersection Upgrade at Polo Flat Road and the Monaro Highway, Cooma

December 2019 Intersection upgrade at Polo Flat Road and the Monaro Highway, Cooma The NSW Government is finalising planning for a roundabout at the intersection of the Monaro Highway and Polo Flat Road to increase safety at this location. Proposed design for the new roundabout Polo Flat Road provides access to Cooma’s industrial area and carries a high number of heavy vehicles. The proposed roundabout will deliver safer journeys for light and heavy vehicles sharing the road. A dedicated right turn lane for motorists turning into Yallakool Road will also be built as part of this upgrade. In order to complete the roundabout before the busy winter period we are planning to start construction after the summer school holiday period in 2020. rms.nsw.gov.au 1 How will the work affect you?
