Baghdad Governorate . On 16th February, IOM distributed 520 rations of relief items for protection from weather conditions for IDP families in Hurriyah, Adhamiya, Rusafa, Karkh, Hay Al-Jami’a Complex and Amiriyah. In addition, 120 NFI rations were distributed to IDP families from Mosul and Qa'em who were hosted at Al-Jihad and Al-Resala neighborhoods in Baghdad. During February, UIMS’s mobile medical team provided health services to 115 beneficiaries. Ninawa Governorate . According to data provided to JCMC for the period between 20th February and 3rd March, MoDM distributed food and non-food items to IDPs in Al-Khazir, Hassansham, Jad’a, Madraj, Haj-Ali, Debga and Hammam Al-Alil camps and Rfeila, Jeren, and Al-Hamza villages as well as the screening sites in Hammam Al-Alil sub-district, as shown in the table below: Dry food Immediate Kerosene Rechargeable Kerosene Winter Winter Health kit Kitchen set Blanket Mat Tarpaulin Thermos Water set parcels parcel heater light stove blouse jacket 9,237 5,937 8,702 2,680 68,902 7,637 4,396 5,937 3,300 300 300 55 3,261 3,500 . Summary of activities provided by the Ministry of Health & Environment to support the delivery of health and treatment services for IDPs, returnees and the residents in the liberated areas, as follows: o 8,000 children under the age of 5 years who returned to their liberated areas in Ninawa Governorate were vaccinated. o A medical team from Basra Health Directorate consists of 37 staff was dispatched to provide medical services at the Al-Shaheed Ali Hospital in Qayyarah and Jassim Shubbar Hospital in Tal Al-Ghazal in Ninawa Governorate. o 17 health clinics were rehabilitated in the eastern side of Mosul. o An amount of 200 million IQD was allocated to support the rehabilitation of Al-Shifa Hospital with capacity 100 beds, as well as the rehabilitation of four operations rooms. The number of staffs who resumed their work has reached 997 individuals, of whom 232 are medical staff where specialist physicians representing 25% of the total medical staff. o Ninawa Disabled Rehabilitation Center and Ibn Al-Atheer Specialized Pediatric Hospital were rehabilitated. o Ninawa Health Directorate HQ was opened at the eastern side of Mosul, where more than 175 of its staff started working to strengthen the mechanisms of supervision and monitoring of the provision of health services. o A warehouse for storing medicines and medical supplies in the eastern side of Mosul was opened. o Medicines and medical supplies have been sent from KIMADIA to Ninawa Health Directorate amounting to over 9 billion IQD. o A 1-megawatt power generator was sent to Ninawa Health Directorate. o The Ministry identified the need to facilitate procedures for the referral of patients from the IDP camps to the hospitals in the liberated areas of Mosul's eastern side or Erbil hospitals. During January 2017, the Ministry of Oil supplied the liberated districts, sub-districts, and villages in Ninawa Governorate with oil products, as follows: Gasoline 2,970,918 liters, kerosene 3,058,870 liters, gas oil 713,300 liters, 43,610 gas cylinders, according to MoO’s report on 6th March. During February, UIMS provided health services to 8,168 beneficiaries, distributed food items to 11,020 beneficiaries, and provided water and sanitation services to 5,000 beneficiaries. 1 مجهورية العراق اﻷمانة العامة جمللس الوزراء JCMC املركز املشرتك للتنسيق والرصد General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers Joint Coordination and Monitoring Center-JCMC Basra Governorate . On 21st February, the Future Makers Society distributed 32 women's clothing sets for IDP families in Zubair district, according to JCMC Representation Office. Salah Al-Din Governorate . MoDM distributed food and non-food items to IDPs in Tikrit and Shirqat districts, according to data provided to the Center for the period from 20th February up to 3rd March: 4,287 food parcels, 2,287 immediate parcels, 648 clothing sets, 4,000 blankets, 48 mats, 574 rechargeable lights, and 48 cookers with their accessories. MoDM Branch provided immediate food parcels and drinking water to 2,319 IDPs displaced from the left side to the right side of Shirqat District. The Ministry of Health & Environment implemented treatment and preventive health campaigns in the IDP camps. It also monitored the surveillance reports and treated leishmaniosis cases. The Ministry of Oil supplied Shirqat district and the relating sub-districts with oil products during January 2017, as follows: Gasoline 551,420 liters, kerosene 714,060 liters, Gas Oil 377,575 liters, 21,500 Gas Cylinders, th according to MoO’s report on 6 March . During February, UIMS provided health services to 13,563 beneficiaries, distributed food items to 1,980 beneficiaries, and provided water and sanitation services to 3,175 beneficiaries. HRF distributed 122 water tanks to IDPs in Al-Shahama camp and the building structures in Tikrit as well as 100 tents to the families displaced from Himrin sub-district to Al-Na’ma area on the outskirts of Tikrit. Diyala Governorate . MoDM distributed 924 rations included food parcels, health kits, immediate food parcels, kitchen sets and 254 kerosene heaters to IDP families in Muqdadiyah district and Saad camp in Baquba district. Karbala Governorate . During February, UIMS provided health services to 71 beneficiaries. Al-Najaf Governorate . Supported by a number of civil society organizations, on 20th February, Al-Salam Humanitarian Organization distributed: 200 food parcels, 200 mats and 200 blankets to 200 displaced families in Najaf's city center. On 26th February, MoDM distributed: 200 food parcels, 200 cookers, 200 health kits, and 200 clothing sets to 200 displaced families in Kufa district. On 27th February, UNHCR distributed kerosene to 200 families in Kufa district and the city center. Each family received 200 liters. During February, UIMS provided health services to 32 beneficiaries. Babil Governorate . Between 3rd and 16th February, the Ministry of Health & Environment implemented 19 treatment and preventive campaigns in the IDP communities as well as providing medical consultations and treatments for chronic diseases to the IDPs. It also held 57 health awareness sessions and distributed 523 health awareness bulletins for IDPs. UNHCR, through its implementing partner the Muslim Aid Organization, distributed 81 financial grants to IDP families in Hilla district and Al-Qassim and Medhatiya sub-districts ranging between 292,000 and 702,000 IQD based on the number of the family members. DRC (Camps Coordination & Management Team) distributed fire risk reduction tools: Extinguishers, fire extinguishing blankets and fire sensors to 10 IDP communities in the governorate. 2 مجهورية العراق اﻷمانة العامة جمللس الوزراء JCMC املركز املشرتك للتنسيق والرصد General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers Joint Coordination and Monitoring Center-JCMC Kirkuk Governorate . MoDM branch provided food and household items to 761 IDPs from Hawija district who were transported from different zones and accommodated in Kirkuk’s camps. With support from the European Union, IOM distributed on 15th February, 450 NFI rations to the IDPs in Kirkuk governorate. Al-Anbar Governorate . MoDM branch distributed 65,000 liters of kerosene to 1,300 families in the Kilo 18 and Kilo 60 camps. Each family received 50 liters. Between 3rd and 16th February, the Ministry of Health & Environment vaccinated 72,000 citizens against the seasonal flu in Ramadi. The Ministry of Oil supplied Falluja district and sub-districts with oil products during January 2017, as follows: Gasoline 2,656,100 liters, kerosene 4,466,600 liters, Gas oil 2,841,400 liters, 38,190, gas cylinders, according to MoO’s report issued on 6th March. During February, UIMS provided health services to 29,856 beneficiaries, distributed NFIs to 559 beneficiaries, and provided water and sanitation services to 111,948 beneficiaries. MoDM branch provided immediate food parcels and drinking water to 98 families displaced from Rawa and Annah who were sheltered in the Kilo 18 camp. Various Governorates . MoO distributed 1,136,800 liters of kerosene for free to 5,983 displaced families in Erbil and Dahuk Governorates, according to the data provided to the Center for the period from 18th to 25th February, as shown in the table below: Governorate Erbil Dahuk Grand total Number of families 5,144 839 5,983 Quantity/ liter 1,028,800 108,000 1,136,800 Iraqi Red Crescent Society .
