In order to enter the National Smallbore Rifle Champi- onships you now must be in possession of a Smallbore classifica- tion card issued by the NRA, or a recognized National Governing TBody like USA Shooting or CMP. Unclassified competitors will no longer be allowed entry into the National Championships. If you plan on attending the championships, please be sure that you obtain the necessary classification. We are still interested in locating experienced target pullers for the 2015 Fullbore Rifle Championship and the 2015 World Long Range Rifle Champi- onships. We are interested in volunteers, groups, clubs, competitors, etc., that might help us out. If you know of a group that would like to use this as a fund raiser, we will train them on how to pull targets and score. High school and/or college students, at least 18 years old, interested in earning a few hundred extra dollars before returning to school are also welcome. The NRA will manage the hiring of target pullers. Target pullers will be paid a flat rate of $75.00 per day plus have their housing furnished in either a hutment or a barracks room. We can be contacted at [email protected]. We are in need of approximately 130 target pullers. Target pullers will also receive official World Championship mementos for their participation. The NRA National Matches programs are posted and online at the NRA web site. If a program has the word “preliminary” attached to it, don’t let that scare you. It only means that the advertisements, etc., are not yet in place. The content posted is final. Once we have sold all of the advertise- ment space, and the ads have been created, they will be added to the program and it will then become “final.” Silhouette competition will be undergoing a change, moving away from the match books, currently sold for participation, and onto the NRA Clas- sification System. Competitors should not notice any significant changes in that the current classification ratings will be converted to the long stand- ing NRA classifications. Master, AAA, AA, A, B will become High Master, Master, Expert, Sharpshooter, and Marksman respectively. Classification cards will be issued according to data collected in 2013, 2014, and 2015. This change will help maintain consistency with other NRA programs and make for much improved ease of use with the new NRA web site when it’s completed. Next up on the schedule is the MidwayUSA & NRA Bianchi Cup, May 20-23 at the Green Valley Rifle & Pistol Club in Columbia, MO. Entry information can be found at http://bianchicup.nra.org.
