Wells finished 15-28 with two touchdowns and an interception. Runningback • Brandon Eldimire rushed for 21 yards on 10 carries after starting his first contest of the year. His longest was 12 yards while he averaged 2.1 per carry. • Barrington Scott led the Bulldogs in rushing with 77 yards on 16 rushes. The Ball State transfer scored his first TD in the Maroon & White vs. GSU. He longest was 18 yards while he averaged 4.8 a carry. Wide Receiver • Montaurius Smith was double team throughout the contest but still managed to catch two passes for 32 yards and a touchdown vs. GSU. • G’Alonzo Milton played in his first game since the 2011 season and caught three passes for 46 yards vs. Grambling. • The ball was well distributed by Wells as he hit seven different receivers including Jonathan Dorsey, Bryan Nelson, Brandon Eldimire and O’Darius Williams. Tight End • Toriono Upshaw picked up where he left off last year leading the team with five receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown vs. Grambling. Offensive Line • With four new starters on the offensive line the Bulldogs gave up one sack and allowed 138 rushing yards and 187 passing yards in A&M’s 23-9 victory over Grambling. BULLDOG Football 2013 *BULLDOG Football 2013 *BULLDOG Football 2013 2013 Bulldog Bites Defensive Line • Reginald Bailey led the defensive line with five tackles three assisted and two solo versus Grambling. • Anthony Lanier ended with two tackles but those two were two solos for tackles for losses of eight yards, one for a sack of seven yards and two quarterback hurries. • Jawanza Vickers collected five assisted tackles vs. Grambling as the D-line caused havoc on the Tigers offensive line. Linebackers • Robert Nelson led the team with seven tackles with three for a loss of four yards. He secured the first points for A&M in 2013 with a safety vs. Grambling. • Conard Johnson posted five tackles (four assisted and one solo) with one for a loss of two yards versus Grambling. Defensive Back • Derrick Harris secured three tackles vs. Grambling State. He also secured the first turnover with a fumble recov- ery on the first play of the season. • A.
