The Public Authority was represented by the Public Information Officer Thiru S. Sudhanthiram, Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Alangulam, Tirunelveli. Under the RTI Act 2005 sec.6(1) the petitioner filed an application dated 09.06.08 addressed to the Public Information Officer requesting him to furnish the information with regard to "inclusion of stranger's name in Maruthamputhur Part II Village patta No.101/15/03/2007 - Changed the patta number as 703 dt. 25.5.07. As there was no response from the PIO within the stipulated time of 30 days under sec.7(1) the petitioner filed the 1st Appeal under sec. 19(1) on 11.8.08 and the 2nd Appeal under sec.19(3) to the Commission on 07.5.08. On the basis of the petitioner's second Appeal to the Commission both the Petitioner and the PIO were summoned to appear before the Commission for today's hearing. At the enquiry, the PIO has stated that the required information was supplied to the petitioner on 10.9.08. As the information supplied by the PIO to the petitioner was incomplete and incorrect, that the PIO is directed to give the complete and correct information according to the Government records to the petitioner on or before 20.7.2009 and report the same to the Commission on or before 24.7.2009.
