Suspected appendicitis Pediatric Emergency Medicine Consider alternative dx: Exclude: Pain control and antiemetics PRN • Ovarian/testicular torsion If toxic, hemodynamically assess risk of appendicitis: • PID unstable or rigid abdomen.
