These are metered taxis, meaning there is a device on the dashboard that displays the cost of the journey as it progresses. The taxis charge per mile, unless the taxi's speed drops below 10.4mph and then the cost for that part of the journey is calculated by time. The journey from LHR to central London takes 30 to 60 minutes and costs £49 to £92 depending on traffic. London's underground train network is call the London Underground or the London Tube - London Underground Map. LHR has three London Underground stations which are signposted from within the terminals – one for Terminals 2 and 3 and one each at Terminal 4 and Terminal 5. The London Underground station for Terminals 2 and 3 is between the terminals, a few minutes' walk via pedestrian subway. The London Underground stations at Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 are in the basements of the terminal buildings. You can purchase tickets at all terminals (£6.00 one way), the journey should take no longer than one hour, and you shouldn't have to wait longer than ten minutes for a train (even at off-peak times). The London Underground train lines and stations are detailed in the map mentioned above. LHR is on the dark blue ‘Piccadilly line’. Take the train to South Kensington Station, at this station change to the London Underground yellow ‘Circle line’ or green ‘District line’, take the train to Blackfriars Station, and on exiting the station follow the walking directions (located in the London Underground information, below). There are several other airports in greater London - London Luton, London Stanstead, London City, and London Gatwick. If you are flying into any of these airports please contact the London Customer Briefing Centre for directions. Overground trains You can arrive into London via several overground train stations. The most common are: London Paddington Station (North West London), London Waterloo Station (South London), London Kings Cross (North London), and Liverpool Station (Central London). On arriving into these stations you can transfer to the London Underground and continue your journey to either of the two stations that are closest to the office - St Paul’s station (best for Paddington, Kings Cross, and Liverpool Stations) or Blackfriars’s station (best for Waterloo Station) – as detailed in the ‘London Underground’ details below. London Underground London Underground Map - the two closest London Underground stations are St Paul’s and Blackfriars St Paul’s Station is located on the London Underground’s red ‘Central line’. On exiting the station you can either flag down a black cab (taxi) or it is a ten minute/0.5 mile walk to the ServiceNow offices – walk south on Panyer Alley towards Paternoster Row (180ft), turn right onto St. Paul's Churchyard (302ft), turn right to stay on St. Paul’s Churchyard (436ft), turn right onto Ludgate Hill (410 ft), slight right to stay on Ludgate Hill (328ft), continue onto Fleet Street (427ft), turn left onto Salisbury Court (138ft), turn right into Salisbury Square, and the offices are straight ahead. Blackfriars Station is located on the London Underground’s yellow ‘Circle line’ and green ‘District line’. On exiting the station you can either flag down a black cab (taxi) or it is a five minute/0.2 mile walk to the ServiceNow offices – walk west on Blackfriars Passage towards the A201 (95ft), turn right onto A201 (420ft), turn left onto New Bridge St/A201 (26ft), turn right onto Tudor St (377ft), turn right onto Dorset Rise (331ft), turn left onto Salisbury Square, the offices are on the left.
