FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE KRZZ-FM Ranked Among Top 3 in San Francisco San Francisco, November 1, 2005 - Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBSA) announced today that KRZZ-FM was ranked #3 in the recently released Arbitron Summer ratings book among all San Francisco radio stations, regardless of language or format, among listeners between the ages of 18 and 34. KRZZ (“La Raza” 93.3 FM) achieved the ranking with a 5.6 AQH share in the Summer Arbitron, making KRZZ one of the most listened to radio stations in the nation’s fourth largest radio market. The growth is fueled by the strong performance in mornings with Renan Almendarez Coello, “El Cucuy”, and mid-day personality “La Bronca”, delivering a 6.4 AQH share in the 18-34 demo. Peter Remington, Vice-President/General Manager of the SBS station, commented, “Renan and La Bronca have ignited the passion of the entire San Francisco/San Jose market. Since the debut of KRZZ in November 2004, the station has realized steady growth over the last three Arbitron ratings surveys. La Raza’s music and personalities have proven themselves to be incredibly popular with Bay Area listeners.” The solid ratings performance confirms Spanish Broadcasting’s leadership position in delivering the growing Hispanic consumer audience throughout the San Francisco/San Jose Bay Area.
