The Kaliganga at Taraghat is likely to fall both by 15 cm and may flow 116 cm & 131 cm below danger mark in the next 24 & 48 hrs. The Turag at Mirpur is likely to fall by 11 cm & 15 cm and may flow 93 cm & 108 cm below danger level in the next 24 & 48 hrs respectively. The Buriganga at Dhaka is likely to fall by 11 cm & 12 cm and may flow 163 cm & 175 cm below danger level in the next 24 & 48 hrs respectively. The Balu at Demra is likely to fall both by 12 cm and may flow 111 & 123 cm below danger level in the next 24 & 48 hrs respectively. The Lakhya at Narayanganj is likely to fall both by 9 cm and may flow 109 & 118 cm below danger level in the next 24 & 48 hrs respectively. The Padma at Goalundo is likely to fall both 2 cm and may flow 93 cm & 95 cm below danger level in the next 24 hrs & 48 hrs respectively. The Surma at: 1) Sylhet is likely to fall by both 3 cm and may flow 183 cm & 186 cm below danger level in the next 24 & 48 hrs respectively. 2) Sunamganj is likely to fall by 6 cm & 5 cm and may flow 121 cm & 126 cm below danger level in the next 24 & 48 hrs respectively. The Kushiyara at Sheola is likely to rise by 19 cm & 8 cm and may flow 90 cm & 82 cm below danger level in the next 24 & 48 hrs respectively. The Meghna at Bhairab Bazar is likely to fall by 12 cm & 11 cm and may flow 60 cm & 71 cm below danger level in the next 24 & 48 hrs respectively. * Danger level at a river location is the level above which it is likely that the flood may cause damages to nearby crops and homesteads. In a river having no embankment, danger level is about annual average flood level. In an embanked river, danger level is fixed slightly below design flood level of the embankment. One of its associated troughs extends to North Bay. Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate over North Bay. Forecast: Light to moderate rain/T.showers accompanied by tempo. gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
