The man wanted to surprise his girlfriend. He was looking for something extraordinary. Something to remember. The hotel infinity pool with its breathtaking view of the sea, the mountains and the sky was ticking all the boxes for the creation of the memorable event, but something else, something never seen before was needed. The idea came all of a sudden: “What if we create a platform floating on the water of the infinity pool”? It sounded perfect. After 10 hours the platform was ready, thanks to a staff of true professionals who rose to the challenge. Obviously that was just the beginning. When designing an intimate event for two you need to include romantic delights along with your dinner setting. Keeping it simple yet beautiful, the Belmond Hotel Caruso ‘dream team’ arranged a violinist to welcome the guests’ arrival, a tailor-made menu, specially created by the executive chef, flowers and candles to create a warm sophisticated atmosphere and fireworks to add some sparkles to the night. Everything progressed as if in a romantic movie says the Event Manager “I was sure we could do it but the result was twice as good as my expectations”. The best moment was at the end of the evening when the couple removed their dressing gowns and dived into the pool, swimming and kissing each other under the stars and fireworks.
