The information at the time of graduation was collected by the Placement Offices through personal conversations, classroom visits, telephone calls, emails, mailings, texts, and Facebook. Wage and employment information has been self-reported by graduates for their first job after graduation. Self-reported continuing education status was supplemented with information from the National Student Clearinghouse. After the data collection was complete, the Institutional Research Office combined responses from the Placement Office and the online survey and supplemented that with information from the National Student Clearinghouse. For those graduates that provided SCC with information both at the time of graduation and six months later, we used the information from six months after graduation. The final data source included 891 who provided information at the time of graduation (63%), 483 who provided information six months after graduation (34%), and 42 for whom we have only information from the National Student Clearinghouse (3%). We removed salary information if there were fewer than three graduates in a program due to % confidentiality. Graduates who gave no response are not included in the percentage calculations. 83 of employed • Total graduates during 2015: 1670 graduates are • Number of responses: 1416 working in • Response rate: 84.8% their field of study Page 4 Number of Employed Employed Continuing Still seeking, Percent Average Average graduates in training- in non- education Not seeking, working in Hourly Annual 2015 Programs of Study related job training- No response Nebraska Salary Salary related job Agriculture/Food/Natural Resources Agriculture Business & Management Technology 2 97 56 4 19 18 77% $14.31 $29,765 Food Service/Hospitality 40 20 4 3 13 92% $12.93 $26,894 Business Business Administration 188 74 34 32 48 93% $14.23 $29,598 Office Professional 39 26 5 5 3 94% $12.97 $26,978 Communications & Information Technology Computer Information Technology 49 29 9 2 9 90% $21.36 $44,429 Computer Programming Technology 16 13 0 1 2 92% $23.14 $48,131 Graphic Design | Media Arts 12 3 3 1 5 100% $15.92 $33,114 Community Services & Resources Criminal Justice 25 10 4 5 6 100% $15.73 $32,718 Early Childhood Education 31 26 1 3 1 86% $11.77 $24,482 Fire and Emergency Services Management 1 4 1 0 0 3 100% Fire Protection Technology 1 24 1 9 9 5 100% Human Services 43 9 6 20 8 95% $12.43 $25,854 Long Term Care Administration 1,3 16 2 4 4 6 100% Construction & Electronics Architectural-Engineering Technology 11 9 1 1 0 70% $17.63 $36,670 Building Construction Technology 24 14 3 1 6 88% $17.02 $35,402 Computer Aided Design Drafting 15 10 0 0 5 100% $15.89 $33,051 Electrical and Electromechanical Technology 48 39 1 2 6 90% $19.53 $40,622 Electronic Systems Technology 25 11 5 3 6 88% $16.89 $35,131 Energy Generation Operations 26 15 3 5 3 85% $24.16 $50,253 Geographic Information Systems Technician 1 4 2 0 1 1 100% Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology 19 13 1 0 5 86% $16.75 $34,840 Land Surveying/Civil Engineering Technology (14-15) 10 9 0 0 1 89% $17.40 $36,192 Health Sciences Associate Degree Nursing 50 44 0 5 1 93% $23.40 $48,672 Dental
