Areas of concentration include Stage Manager Stage Technician Performance, Design, Technical Theatre, and Dramatic Stunt Person Literature & Theatre History. Talent Director The Department of Theatre offers a four-year program leading TV Presenter/host to a B.A. degree in theatre. An undergraduate degree in Wardrobe Specialists theatre offers valuable preparation for careers in educational or professional theatrical activities, as well as other nonrelated disciplines. ACQUIRED TRANSFERABLE SKILLS USM Theatre students have earned regional and national recognition through the American College Theatre Festival. Television/film studios -Get as much acting experience as possible. Perform in school Amusement and theme parks productions, community theater, summer stock, etc. -Learn about the entertainment industry as a whole. DIRECTING Theaters of varying types -Gain both directing and technical experience by participating in Television and motion picture college productions. Gain technical experiences in local theaters. studios -Participate in the Director’s Guild Training Program. Video production companies -Volunteer with directors in local theaters to become familiar with the Other performance venues environment.
