Congress Criticism unfortunate : Satya Pal Jain By : INVC Team Published On : 26 Dec, 2015 03:00 PM IST INVC NEWS Chandigarh, Satya Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor General of India and Ex MP from Chandigarh has said that criticism by the Congress Party of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s visit to Lahore yesterday is very unfortunate and totally against the National Interest of India. In a statement issued here today Sh. Jain said that by visiting Lahore yesterday, Sh. Narendra Modi has enhanced the prestige of the country in the whole world and has once again reiterated the genuine concern of India of solving issues between India and Pakistan by comprehensive dialogue. He said that the gesture shown by Sh. Narendra Modi has been appreciated by all National and International leaders except Congress Party. He said that it seems that narrow and parochial political interests are more important for the Congress then the prestige of the nation and the steps which enhance the national interest. He said that Sh. Narendra Modi has behaved like a true statesman and every Indian is proud of his initiatives in international politics. It is high time that the Congress Party should do introspection and shun its polices which are against the National Interest of India.
