TONIGHT’S GAME – The Colorado Eagles take on the Bakersfield Condors tonight in the first game of a two-game series. THE SERIES – Colorado will face Bakersfield eight times this season, with four of those games set to take place at the Budweiser Events Center. THE ALL-TIME SERIES – The Eagles are 4-4-0 all-time against the Condors, including a 2-2-0 mark in games played at the BEC. EAGLES’ LAST GAME (11/12) – Josh Dickinson notched a pair of assists, while fellow forwards Jacob MacDonald, Erik Condra and Igor Shvyrev all netted goals as the Colorado Eagles defeated the San Antonio Rampage, 3-1 on Tuesday. Eagles goaltender Hunter Miska was stellar in net, stopping 38 of the 39 shots he faced. Colorado’s victory, combined with the Eagles 5-2 win at Texas on Saturday, gave Colorado a perfect 2-0 mark on the team’s two-game road trip through the Lone Star State. The victory also improves the Eagles road record to 5-2 on the season. CONDORS’ LAST GAME (11/9) – Bakersfield scored three power-play goals to race past the San Jose Barracuda, 6-3 on Saturday. Forwards Brad Malone and Tyler Benson each generated four points in the victory, as goaltender Stuart Skinner earned the win in net by turning aside 19 of the 22 shots he faced in the contest. LAST MEETING (4/27) – Martin Kaut’s two-goal performance would not be enough, as the Bakersfield Condors scored four straight goals to defeat the Eagles, 5-2 in Game Four of the opening round series of the 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs. Condors forward Brad Malone notched a goal and two assists to help Bakersfield clinch the best-of-five series, three games to one. UP NEXT FOR THE EAGLES – Colorado will take on the Bakersfield Condors on Saturday, November 16th at 7:05pm MT at the Budweiser Events Center. UP NEXT FOR THE CONDORS – Same as above. WELCOME BACK- Eagles forward A.J. Greer rejoined the COLORADO EAGLES Colorado lineup on Saturday after serving a six-game PP: 11.1% (26th) suspension and his impact was immediate and dramatic. PK: 81.6% (21st) Greer scored his first two goals of the season in the Eagles 5-2 win over Texas, adding a pair of even-strength tallies in the Recent Transactions: second period. Add (F) Logan O’Connor --- Reassigned by Colorado (NHL) Delete (G) Antoine Bibeau --- Recalled by Colorado (NHL) SHOOTING FOR A WIN- Colorado currently sits ninth in the AHL in shots per game with an average of 31 shots per BAKERSFIELD CONDORS th contest. Interestingly, the Eagles were able to generate three PP: 17.7% (14 ) th goals in last Tuesday’s win over San Antonio, despite being PK: 82.4% (18 ) held to a season-low 19 shots on goal.
