In September 2017 Rainbow will have 5 Kindergartens open! We are now looking for foreign staff to teach in our international kindergarten classrooms. Kindergarten teaching positions include up to 30 hours per week in a classroom. Approximately 20 hours per week are instructional hours and up to 10 hours per week are supervisory hours. Bilingual Chinese teachers will provide support in classrooms with International teachers. Students range from 3-6 years old with a class maximum of 20 students. Curriculum and lesson plans will follow an international philosophy focused on hands-on, experiential learning. The curriculum and lessons will be provided by Canadian International Directors and Principals, who are from British Columbia and live in Kunming, China. The Canadian International Directors and Principals are Canadian certified teachers, were previously administrators in BC elementary schools, and have a great deal of experience with education in Canada and China. All Rainbow Education schools are new, beautiful buildings located beside large apartment complexes. The schools are clean, environmentally friendly, and well equipped with numerous supplies and resources. Parents, students, and staff are friendly and welcoming.
