The project activity may be divided into three segments, namely A. Stripping of over burden B. Excavation of Bed Rock. C. Transport of mined mineral produce from mines site to nearby Consuming centers. D. Environmental Management A. Stripping of over burden: Currently out of 1.00 hectare project area only 0.50 hectare of area is subjected to rock excavation B. Excavation of Bed Rock and its Dressing C. Transport of Mineral: On day to day basis around 100Mt of mineral shall be loaded in to transport vehicles and shall be moved out of mining lease area to consumer centers. 3 Project: Masonary Stone Mine Owner: Shri Gotam Sharma 2. PROJECT BACKGROUND 2.1 THE PROJECT IS IN EXISTENCE The Project is in existence since 2005. It is a small scale open cast manual mining project currently producing around 2500 TPA of Masonary Stone 1. Rock Blasting: Low Usage of Explosives 2. The ground water is deep in the region and is in general below 70m or more in and around the project area. As such no disturbance to ground water regime of the project area is fore seen due to mining activity. 3.
