(Pirate Club), and the ECU Medical & Health Sciences Foundation Inc. At the same time, the East Carolina Alumni Association nurtures a connection between ECU and its graduates, whose support of the university is vital. Private support of ECU through these foundations provides resources that state support cannot, such as student scholarships, state-of-the-art equipment, programs that enrich the educational experience of all East Carolina students, and enhancements to our athletics facilities.
