List of insurers who support and adhere to the Salvage Code of Practice and contacts – November 2019 The Salvage Code of Practice has been created to advise on the steps to be taken in the categorisation of vehicle salvage and recovered stolen vehicles. The purpose of the Code is to protect the public, detect and deter insurance fraud and other criminal activities and to make vehicle histories more transparent. To further improve transparency and compliance, and to facilitate effective dispute resolutions over vehicle categorisations, the below list contains details of each insurer’s Single Point of Contact for the Salvage Code of Practice.
