Dependents’ Scholarship Alabama residency, the nature of the veteran’s discharge, and other requirements will apply. The qualifications and the actual amount of the scholarships will vary depending on the veteran’s VA- rated disability percentage and as of July 31, 2017, “tuition will be limited to the Department of Defense Tuition Assistance Cap” with reimbursement for textbooks and fees capped at a total of $10000 per student per semester.
