GOLF SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT SUCCESS STORY Ever since I was a kid, I knew that I loved TOURNAMENT space exploration. I always thought the night sky was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. This led me to a desire to work for NASA and learn more about space. I knew that I had to get a degree in order to achieve my dreams, so I decided to pursue aerospace engineering at OU. I didn’t know how I was going to pay for it since I was raised by a single mother. Because of the OU Black Alumni Society Oklahoma City/Norman Chapter’s continued financial support, I am currently a senior aerospace engineering major with 3 distinct NASA internship experiences. I plan to work full-time for NASA in Houston after graduating in December of 2018. Without the OU Black Alumni Society, I would not have had these opportunities, for that I am forever grateful for this organization and its commitment to my education.
