Tablelands north of Deua National Park. Notes Dwarf shrub to 1 m tall, occasionally prostrate. Branchlets more or less cylindrical, hairless or sparsely hairy. Sharp-pointed 'leaves'. 'Leaves' scattered, widely spaced, 0.8-2.5 cm long, 0.5-1.5 mm wide, square to more or less flat in cross section, leaves hairless, gradually tapering to a sharp point. Stipules usually less than 1 mm long, frequently falling early. Flower heads globular, bright yellow, 12-40 flowered (easiest seen in late buds), 5-10 mm in diameter, on stalks 7-20 mm long. Flowers Winter to Spring. Family was Mimosaceae. Intergrades with Acacia ulicifolia.
