These Disaster Response Teams of PRCS AJK Branch, comprising of National and Branch Disaster Response trained personnel and logistic members along‐with local volunteers carried out assessment of the affected area. One non‐food items package contains the following:‐ S. NO Items Quantity 1 Tent 1 ( Per Family) 2 Blankets 5 ( Per Family) 3 Hygiene Kits 1 ( Per Family) 4 Stoves 1 ( Per Family) 5 Tarpaulin Sheet 1 ( Per Family) Heavy snowfall has also generated land sliding from all surrounding mountains of lake on 10th Feb and affected more than 239 families, residing in the areas of Kaldi, Bad Sher, Dhakan Padder and Bali. After coordination with District Government and SDMA, PRCS AJK Branch will distribute NFI to these 239 families today. As per the immediate need identified, PRCS NHQ will dispatch 400 Kitchen Sets immediately to provide assistance to the affected families. To oversee the overall situation and to plan assistance from NHQ a team from PRCS NHQ will move to AJK, today. The team will meet the PRCS Branch Secretary, go to the affected areas and will coordinate with DM Department DMLC Islamabad on daily basis. Groundwork for provision of winterized NFI kit by PRCS is underway with her Movement Partners for the affected families and shall be done soon.
