Since 2008, Director at the Global Institute of Intellectual Property (GIIP), Delhi, India. Since 2008, Consultant Professor the Huazhong University, Wuhan, China. Since 2009, Senior Advisor at the Tongji Global Intellectual Property Institute (TGIPI), Shanghai. From 1998 – 2000 President of LES Germany and during the year 2000 President of LES International. Member of the Advisory Board of LES Germany (being a Past- President of LES Germany) and member of the Council of Past- Presidents of LESI (LESI-PPC). Besides of the usual activities as a patent attorney frequent lectures and training courses in European Patent and Licensing Law, in cooperation with the European Patent Office and WIPO, with focus on China, India, Japan, and the Arab Region. Since 2010, Member of the European Academy of Arts and Science. Since 2011, Adjunct Professor and an Honorable Consultant in International Legal Services at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Yunlin, Taiwan. Since 2014, Lecturer at Tsinghua University School of Law, Beijing, China. Since 2014, Chair of the Association of Friends of Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC), Munich, Germany. In 2014, inducted into the IAM IP Hall of Fame. Since 2017, ad-personam member of the Standing Advisory Committee of the European Patent Office (SACEPO). .
