For routes and distances, see www.theaa.com/travelwatch/planner main.jsp By Car to Goathurst Huntstile Farm is about 10 minutes from Junction 24 of the M5 From the M5 take the exit at J24, heading towards North Petherton at the roundabout. Just before the North Petherton village turn right into Old Road signposted to Goathurst and Broomfield. Then take 2nd right to Goathurst. The turning is quite a way up the road past a house with two huge lion pillars at the gates. The right turn is about 0.2 of a mile after this. Huntstile Farm is about a mile down this road and is the only farm. Pass two small stone cottages on the right and a big red brick house on left. The farm buildings are in front of you. Carry on round the corner and you will see two driveways on the right – take the 2nd one and it will lead you down to the farmhouse. If you get to a brick barn with a blue door and circular window you have gone too far. By train to Bridgwater or Taunton, then taxi The 2 nearest stations to Goathurst are Bridgwater (3.5 miles) and Taunton (10.5 miles). From London you will need to change trains at Taunton to reach Bridgwater, whereas from the north your train will stop at Bridgwater on the way to Taunton. Trains from London Paddington: there are frequent trains to Taunton. You would change here to Bridgwater for the shortest taxi ride. The journey takes approx 2.30 hrs. Trains from Birmingham and further north: there are trains once an hour, changing at Bristol Temple Meads to First Great Western towards Taunton. Bridgwater is before Taunton.
