PREMIER LACROSSE LEAGUE POWERED BY TICKETMASTER ANNOUNCES TCO STADIUM AS HOST FOR WEEK 5 GAMES LOS ANGELES, CA. (April 14, 2021) - The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster announced today that the league will travel to Minneapolis-St. Paul from July 9th to July 11th as part of their 2021 season. Viking Lakes, home of the Minnesota Vikings and the recently-constructed TCO Stadium in Eagan, Minn., will host the league’s first-ever visit to Minnesota. “We’re excited to bring the PLL to a new market in Minneapolis-St. Paul this summer,” said PLL Co-Founder and CEO Mike Rabil. “As we evaluate potential tour stops each season, Minnesota checked all the boxes, from a rabid fan base to a world-class facility and operating team at Viking Lakes.” PLL will host the following slate of games at TCO Stadium: Friday, July 9 Waterdogs LC vs. Cannons LC Saturday, July 10 Redwoods LC vs. Whipsnakes LC (2019 Championship rematch) Atlas LC vs. Chaos LC Sunday, July 11 Chrome LC vs. Waterdogs LC Cannons LC vs. Archers LC “We are thrilled to host Premier Lacrosse League at TCO Stadium and this event is a perfect fit for Viking Lakes as we continue to develop a live, work, play destination in Eagan”, said Viking Lakes General Manager Kyle Chank. “We’re proud to welcome such a reputable, high-profile organization and we look forward to helping the PLL grow the sport of lacrosse in the community and across the nation.” The PLL will work with its venue partners to maintain compliance with local and state governance regarding health and safety best practices. This will include standardized weekend- to-weekend health and safety measures, including but not limited to: seating pods, social distancing, enhanced venue cleaning, mobile ticketing, hand sanitation stations, staff and attendee mask requirements. Similar to the 2020 season, the PLL will be working with a committee of medical professionals to develop health and safety protocols for all players, staff, and fans as well. The 2021 PLL season will include 11 tour stops from June to September. For the third consecutive year, PLL games will be distributed via an exclusive media rights agreement with NBC Sports Group with action being shown through a combination of NBC, NBCSN, and Peacock TV.
