by erasmusplusuk 3 hours ago Erasmus+ October press round-up A round-up of the Erasmus+ stories featured in the press last month October has brought us autumnal, crunchy leaves and an exciting array of Erasmus+ projects in the news. This month we've seen an optometry student from Aston University spend two months in Denmark, Pilton Bluecoat Academy featuring in their local newspaper, and Cardiff Metropolitan University’s School of Health Sciences using International Credit Mobility (ICM) funding for staff members to visit colleagues in Lebanon and students to visit China. An invaluable placement in the 'happiest place in the world' Optometry student Benjamin Chandra spent his summer in Denmark, the 'happiest country in the world', in order to see optometry from another perspective. Ben, a student at Aston University, participated in a two-month placement at Aarhus University Hospital (AUH). He said: "It was an invaluable learning experience and I probably saw more patients with keratoconus in these two months than one might see in 10 years on the UK High Street."
