Overview Job Profile: The Content Coordinator position is four days per week with a view to grow to full time reporting to Belvoir’s Head of Marketing and Audience Development. The Content Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day implementation, coordination and creation of Belvoir’s images, video, audio and communication strategies with particular emphasis on content distribution and creation on digital platforms, coordinating our print publications, proofing and liaising with key stakeholders in the development and distribution of content. Hours of work: 32 hours per week, from 9.30am to 6pm. From time to time the spread of hours may vary to suit the nature of the work undertaken, including attendance at Belvoir major events. The position is salaried and as such no overtime is payable. Work with the Marketing team, other departments and external organisations to create, coordinate, publish, develop and maintain all online content including updating the Belvoir website and updating all other digital channels as required. 2. Develop and deliver the company Social Media Content Strategy in consultation with the Head of Marketing, including detailed channel plans and digital reporting 3. Write, produce and manage articles, branded content and website content (including written, video, audio, image gallery and archival) including interviews with the artistic team, resident and visiting artists and other relevant subjects for text based, audio and video content 4. Responsible for coordinating, production and distribution of Belvoir print publications including the Season Brochure, production programs, published scripts, and the annual report • prepare and manage production schedules • organise photography • write or source text for inclusion • liaise with internal and external contributors • edit and proof copy • create content for social and digital channels 5. Liaise with Artistic & Programming team, as well as individual production teams, to stay abreast of content opportunities. 6. Coordinating the stills and video documentation of Belvoir productions and related activities. 7. Responsible for ensuring all Belvoir print and digital publications are copy proofed, functional and adhere to house style and brand guidelines. 8. Responsible for the archiving of marketing and publicity materials and image library and providing public access to the company’s archives including processing copyright permissions. 9. Responsible for the filming and editing of video for marketing purposes and work with other members of Belvoir to establish appropriate channels for content, and to ensure that content can be appropriately promoted via other Belvoir channels 10. Assisting the Head of Marketing and Audience Development with project management, deadlines and with other tasks that may arise day to day. 3 Selection Criteria Aptitudes/Abilities/Skills • Proven understanding of managing and producing digital content including video across websites and social media channels and website optimisation. • Proven high standards of written and oral communication and an understanding of different audiences and mediums. • Proven high standard of attention to detail, initiative and ‘follow-through’. • Problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach with the ability to create and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts. Experience • Experience developing digital content and working with social media. Experience working in publications development including copy writing, editing and proofing and/or experience in filming and editing video content • Experience in the use of Microsoft office, Google Docs and Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop) and video editing suites • Experience in managing multiple deadlines and projects. Desirable • Ability to work with artists within the artistic process • Experience working within brand guidelines. • Knowledge of and experience in the performing arts industry. • Demonstrated interest in and sensitivity to actors, artists and the creative process. 4 Company Information When the Nimrod Theatre building was threatened with redevelopment in 1984, more than 600 people – ardent theatre lovers together with arts, entertainment and media professional - formed a syndicate to buy the building and save the theatre.
