Maintenance Engineers support the most important people and processes in our factory. They are our problem solvers, keeping our production lines running smoothly every day. As an apprentice our unique combination of on-the-job and classroom training will give you the practical and people skills you need to succeed. How will I receive my training? For the first two years of the apprenticeship you will primarily be based at the Apprentice Development Centre on site at Toyota Manufacturing UK, with some extended placement periods based on the shop floor at Toyota. The Apprentice Development Centre is run as collaboration between Toyota Manufacturing UK and Burton and South Derbyshire College. Tutors and trainers from Burton and South Derbyshire College are permanently based at the Apprentice Development Centre every working day of the year and alongside industry specialists from Toyota Manufacturing . They deliver teaching and training specified by Toyota that underpins the apprenticeship programme. Why should I apply?
