(NYSE: C) Vibha Coburn appointed Head of Mortgages for Citibank Australia Sydney, 14 March, 2011: Citigroup today announced the appointment of Vibha Coburn as Head of Mortgages for Citibank Australia. Ms Coburn was most recently a business director in Secured Finance Solutions at Citibank Singapore. This included responsibility for the mortgage business in Singapore where she diversified distribution of the product, building business through both indirect and direct sales. In her new role she will report to Roy Gori, CEO of Citibank Australia. Mr Gori said: “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Vibha to the team. Her expertise in the mortgage business as well as sales through direct and broker channels will put her in good stead as we look to grow our business. Her experience with Citibank in Asia and in the banking industry in Australia is also of great value.” Ms Coburn has been with Citibank since 2002 and has held a number of senior roles in the retail and commercial businesses in the Asia Pacific regional office and Singapore. Prior to joining Citibank she was South East Asia Head of Financial Services for PA Consulting Group and also with Westpac Challenge Bank in Sydney and Perth She has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from Delhi University India, a Post Graduate Diploma from the Securities Institute of Australia and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia.
