FPHQ Coaching Series WHAT: Fastpitch Headquarters is sponsoring a series of coaching clinics during 2008 that will bring the best fastpitch coaching instructors and motivational speakers to South Florida. This is the first in the series. Here is your opportunity to learn from the professionals in a casual atmosphere. Included in her totals are 150 no-hit, no-run games and 50 perfect games. At the plate she posted a career batting average of .324. She has lead FAU to an unparalleled eight-consecutive Atlantic Sun Conference Championships (1997-2004) and six-straight NCAA Tournament appearances (1999-2004), both Atlantic Sun records; 510 total wins; and a .673 winning percentage. LINDA DERK was the head coach of the Tampa Bay Firestix of the Women's Professional Softball League from 1998 to 2001, and was the 1999 WPSL Coach of the Year. From 2001-2006 she was the Head Coach at Palm Beach CC. She is an internationally renowned motivational speaker/clinician, and the owner of LDI, a sports consulting firm. BUCKY DENT is a respected defensive coach and former major league short stop. His professional baseball career includes two World Series Championships with the New York Yankees and he was a three-time American League All Star. He has coached and managed with the Texas Rangers, St Louis Cardinals and the New York Yankees. He is the owner of the Bucky Dent Baseball School in Delray Beach FL. .
