5 82 82 Southern Oregon AVA 84 Overview Established in 2004, the Southern Oregon AVA 84 Columbia Valley is made up of three adjacent growing regions – the Umpqua, Applegate and Rogue Valleys. It extends from the foothills of the Siskiyou Mountains north to the Umpqua River. Because of its many micro-climates, the Southern Oregon AVA has the most diverse Willamette Valley varietals of any growing region.
