Sudharsan Exports was not present for today’s (31.7.2009) Enquiry. The Public Authority was represented by Mr.M.C.Sivadoss, Assistant Executive Engineer, North Avinashi, Tiruppur District. The petitioner under Section 6(1) of the Right to Information Act 2005, has sent a petition dated 5.8.2008, addressed to the Public Information Officer, seeking information on the effecting of service and allied works. The Public Information Officer sent a reply to the petitioner dated 29.8.2008. Not satisfied with the reply from the Public Information Officer, the petitioner filed the first appeal to the first appellate authority under Section 19(1) of the Act on 4.9.2008 and the second appeal to the Commission under Section 19(3) on 11.11.2008. On the basis of the second appeal to the Commission, both the petitioner and the Public Information Officer were summoned to appear before the Commission. During enquiry, the representative of the Public Information Officer has stated that the required information by the petitioner was supplied to him on 27.7.2009. A copy of the information furnished to the petitioner was submitted to the Commission today by the representative of the Public Information Officer.
